1.Scope of Application
- These Terms and Conditions apply to all expeditions, tours, travel packages organized and provided by Go Beyond Borders Travel Limited ( " the Company"). By booking any service offered by the Company, the client ("traveller" agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Domestic and international travel packages
- Adventure travel and expeditions
- Group and individual tours
- Any additional services offered as part of a travel package
2. Service Conditions
A. Preliminary Contract
- All information provided in brochures, websites or promotional materials is for general guidance only and does not constitute a binding offer.
- A preliminary contract is formed when the traveller submits a booking request and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
- The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations , or services due to operational requirements, safety concerns, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond its control.
B. Booking and Confirmation
- Bookings are made by email, and the Company will send you a written confirmation along with the tour quotation via email or post.
- Booking is considered provisional until confirmed by the Company.
- The traveller must provide accurate personal details, including name/s, date of birth , passport details ( if applicable), and contact information.
- The Company is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information by the traveller.
C. Reservation and Confirmation
- A reservation is confirmed only after:
- Receipt of the required deposit or full payment, and
- Issuance of a written confirmation (email, invoice, or receipt) by the Company. Confirmation documents include essential details such as travel dates, services included and payment status.
3.The traveller is responsible for reviewing the confirmation details and notifying the Company immediately of any discrepancies.
D. Payment Method
- Accepted payment methods may include:
- Bank Transfer
- Credit or debit card
- Online Payment platforms
- A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable60 days before the start of the trip, as specified by the Company.
- Any bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion shall be borne by the traveller.
E. Deposit and Remaining Balance
- To secure a place on a tour, a non- refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking.
- Your booking will be confirmed once the deposit has been received.
- The remaining balance is not received by the due date, Go Beyond Borders Travel reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
- travellers are responsible for ensuring payments are made on time and for ant bank or transfer fess associated with the payment.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
A. Cancellation by the traveller
15. Cancellations must be made in writing.
16. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of cancellation.
- 60 days to 45 days before the start of the trip - Full refund except deposit.
- 44 days to 15 days before the start of the trip - 50 percent refund except deposit.
- 14 days before the start of the trip - No refund
B. Cancellation by the Company
- The Company reserves the right to cancel a trip due to insufficient participants, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
- In such cases, the Traveller will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- An alternative trip or rescheduled date
- Offer a travel voucher for future trip, which serve as a deposit.
- No additional compensation shall be payable beyond the refund amount.
4. Changes to Itinerary
- Expeditions and adventure travels may require flexibility.
- The Company may alter routes, schedules, or activities for safety, weather, political conditions, or operational reasons.
- Such changes DO NOT entitle the Traveller to a refund or compensation.
5. Accommodation Arrangement
- All accommodation is arranged by the organizer with the assistance of the staff e.g. Tour Guide for the duration of the trip.
- Rooming is typically shared with same-sex travellers unless otherwise requested.
- Request for single occupancy are subject to a single supplement fee, specified in the booking confirmation.
- Room allocation is at the organizer's discretion, taking into account availability, traveller preference, and safety considerations
5. Liability and Risk Acknowledgement
- Travel and Expedition activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, delays, and property loss.
- By booking, the Traveller acknowledges and accepts these risks.
- The Company shall not be liable for:
- Acts of third-party suppliers
- Accidents, injuries, or losses beyond its direct control
- Delays caused by weather, transport providers, or authorities
4.The Company's liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the travel package.
6. Insurance
- Comprehensive TRAVEL INSURANCE covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings is strongly recommended.
- The Company is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance.
- Due to the nature of our tours and expeditions, insurance is MANDATORY. Travellers who fail to provide proof of insurance may not be able to participate. Refunds will be processed in accordance to our standard terms and conditions.
- The Company is NOT responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance.
7. Travellers Responsibilities
- The Traveller must ensure they are suitable physically and mentally condition to participate in the trip.
- 35. Compliance with local laws, customs, and guide instructions is mandatory.
- 36. The Traveller is responsible for:
- • Passports and visas
- • Health requirements and vaccinations
- • Personal Belongings
- For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, the Company reserves the right to remove any traveller whose behaviour endangers themselves or others, or disrupts the trip. Being under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances is strictly prohibited. Failure to adhere will be removed without refund.
- Any pre-existing medical conditions, food allergies or limitations must be disclosed prior to booking.
8. Force Majeure
- 39. The Company shouldn't held liable for failure or delay performance due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- •Natural disasters
- •Pandemics
- •Government restrictions
- •Political unrest
- •Strikes or transportation failures
9. Optional Document Processing Services
- If requested, the Company may assist the travellers in processing visas or other required documents for a corresponding service fee.
- The traveller acknowledges that the Company's assistance does not guarantee approval of visas or entry into the destination country.
- The Company shall not be responsible for denial of entry, visa refusal, or related expenses incurred by the Traveller.
9. Governing Laws
- These Terms and conditions shall be governed by the interpreted in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom.
10. Acceptance of Terms
- By booking a travel package or expedition with Go Beyond Borders Travel , the Traveller confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
